Thursday- Today started about 0900 with a trip to town to get milk, shotgun shells, plumbing connectors to fix the pool shower, hooks for the peg board, onion, cat litter, Benadryl, caffeine and along the way I dropped I texted Madison to wish him a happy birthday. The trip included Walmart, Rite Aid, and I stopped by Quick Stitch to order some hats, one for Travis for watching things while we are gone. Ruth had done this before I left from the other phone too. Fifteen years. Time spins by quickly and I begin to understand age a bit more.
I was not hungry today. Ruth worked inside today with mum and I painted the other side of the sign, mowed a bit, and began the process of putting the fence back together, and laid out the plumbing by the pool, however even with the umbrella it was simply too hot to work on the concrete, it was well over 90℉ today. The pool needed water and the pollen pods from the pecan trees floated heavily on the surface. I skimmed the pool a couple times today and I mowed inside the fence.
Ruth had texted Madison to have him call me, I did not know this until after he called and I went in the house for the evening. Ruth was hurt because I did not come in the house and let her and mum talk with him too. At the time he called I was out by the sign on the roadway.
